Buyer be Aware! |

After thoroughly researching this Timex heart rate monitor I concluded that since it was analogue technology the transmitter (chest strap) would communicate to my major name brand treadmill. It did not! I have tried several analogue heart rate monitors and they have all successfully transmitted a decipherable signal to my treadmill. Not so with this Timex watch. Secondly, I thought the watch had a "timer" on it. I enjoy timing my stretches and other things before and after my workout. This watch does not have a dedicated timer. I returned this product. |

Love it |
This is my first heart rate monitor and it works great. I have had no problems so far. It seems pretty accurate, although I don't know that I trust that the amount of calories it says I have burned per workout is accurate because it doesn't take into account my weight, age, etc. I highly doubt I burned 550 calories in a half hour workout....
Easy to use, easy to program. The chest strap is washable. And you cannot beat the price! Definitely a good investment for a great price. |

it was exactly what i was looking for. it keeps track of your heart rate and calculates the calories you've burned. i definitely feel good after my workouts knowing how many calories are burned. i use it for the insanity program and i'm sure it would work great for runners to make sure you're in a fat burning zone. |
